Scary Detail Spotted On Flight Tracker After Qatar Closed Airspace Amid Strikes In Middle East

A scary detail was spotted on a flight tracker after Qatar closed the airspace amid strikes in the Middle East.

Qatar has reopened its airspace after it was closed on 23 June in case of a retaliation attack by Iran on a US base near Doha. After midnight on 24 June, officials reopened the airspace.

Donald Trump announced on 23 June that Iran and Israel had come to a ceasefire plan that could end the conflict – only days after the US leader ‘totally obliterated’ three nuclear sites in Iran.

Only weeks before, the country was hit with a missile attack from Israel, causing a strike exchange.

POTUS labelled Iran’s response on a US base in Qatar ‘very weak’ and publicly thanked the Iranian officials for the ‘early notice’.

Flightradar24 has now shared a live air traffic report showing the positions of commercial planes around the world, with the caption: “Flyadeal #F3513 appears to be the lone aircraft still deciding what to do now that Qatar and UAE airspace is closed.”

The image shows the flight (red plane) in some sort of holding pattern over the Persian Gulf. The purple lines show the recent flight path in a circular pattern instead of travelling directly to its destination in Dubai from Riyadh.

People have been reacting on social media, with one person writing: “That’s just scary!” and another: “Poor aircraft,” while a third penned: “Crazy sh*t!”.

Flight F3513 has since landed safely in Dubai after it was diverted to Bahrain.
