Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Israel not to drop further bombs on Iran after reports that both countries had violated the ceasefire agreement he brokered.
This morning, it was announced – mainly by Trump, of all people – that Israel and Iran had made a peace deal to quickly end their “12-day war.” But soon after, new reports came out saying that Iran had broken the agreement by firing new missiles.
Iran claimed it didn’t launch any missiles at Israel in the “last few hours,” but Israeli defense minister Israel Katz said he has told the military to respond strongly.
“Because of Iran’s clear breaking of the ceasefire declared by the President of the United States – by launching missiles toward Israel – and following the Israeli government’s plan to react strongly to any violations, I have ordered the IDF (Israel Defence Forces) … to keep up high-intensity operations targeting regime assets and terror infrastructure in Tehran,” Katz said in his statement.
It’s clear that the ongoing fighting doesn’t look good for Trump, who has often bragged about his negotiating skills and previously said he thought the ceasefire between the two countries could “last forever.”
“I want to congratulate both countries, Israel and Iran, for having the stamina, courage, and intelligence to end what should be called, ‘THE 12 DAY WAR,’” he posted on Truth Social. “I believe the ceasefire is unlimited. It’s going to last forever.”

Reacting to the news that both countries had violated the agreement he helped to broker, Trump warned Israel not to drop further bombs on Iran.
In another Truth Social post, he wrote: “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.”
The events happened just a few days after Trump ordered US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites.
Right after the operation, which Trump called a “success”, Iran said it would take revenge. Trump cautioned them against this, stating that any retaliation from Iran would be met with much stronger force than the strikes from the weekend.
“Our goal was to destroy Iran’s nuclear enrichment ability and to stop the nuclear threat from the world’s top state sponsor of terror,” Trump mentioned in his speech after the strikes. “Tonight, I can tell everyone that the strikes were a huge military success.
“Iran’s main nuclear enrichment sites have been completely destroyed. Iran, the bully of the Middle East, needs to make peace now – if they don’t, future attacks will be much worse and easier to carry out.
